Does anyone have any information on fishing at Lynxville? With the bitter cold temps I would imagine that the channel has frozen over right up to the dam. When this happens there are usually a couple dozen or more people out on the ice fishing for saugers and walleyes. I did this up there a few years back and caught a nice limit of fat saugers in a couple hours. I’m looking for fishing action this coming weekend and any reports would be helpful.

Just talked to the owner of Falling Rock bait shop(adjacent to the lynxville launch) he says he has not seen anyone walking the dam yet ,just a few with airboats. They are fishing the cut a few miles above the dam for panfish. Falling Rock-(608)874 4707, if you have never been there they have a good supply of bait and lures 
There were 2 guys on the ice at the dresbach dam on saturday when I made my way across the bridge.
I have never had the guts to walk out on the ice in front of the dam. I will stick to panfishing the back waters and wait till open water for the eyes. I know i am probably missing a great time but I guess I will just have to deal with that.

Are there new owners of Falling Rock, would like to give them some business last owner acted as if he didnt need it.

The computer clock must be off I was on the road at 6am posted this at 406 and computer read at first print at 442
