Fished with James Holst, Friday, stayed in the river, went as far south as Bay City flats. Had 30 plus fish, walleye, to the boat, most were in the 15-18 inch size. Water depth ranged from 8-18 feet, trolling upstream, 3 way live bait setups. Nightcrawlers, and leeches were the menu, with leeches getting the most attention. Tossed some plastics at a wing dam or two, stirred up the white bass and one large sheepshead, left the wing dams alone. The technics used to find and catch these fish are an added value to spending the day fishing with James.
