Walleye throught the ice

    Any areas on pool 4 were one get target them through the ice?

    Lake Pepin down near Lake City can give up fish off the points. As for up further near Red Wing… you’ll have a hard time finding any ice to fish on unless you hit the shallow backwater or bays off of the channel. And those areas don’t usually give up much for walleye. Panfish and pike fishing can be fair – good in these areas.

    Woody, im thinking of taking the boat out in the morning. Its suppose to be about -10. Do you think Dean will have the ramps open? I’ll just plan on meeting you at the ramps, say 5 am?
