Fished pepin thur. very calm in the morning, but the afternoon sure changed things. Started out drifting jigs with plastic and a minnow. Caught 2 under 15 first pass, tried slowly trolling back up missed two. Drifted down again and found where the fish were holding and anchored. Tried a 3 way with just a minnow on a hook, this had worked the best last time out. Nothing doing with this today. So I went back to 2 rods jigging, ended up missing about half the bites so I put on a trailer hook and bingo. Ended up taking home my limit with the bigest 19.5″ nothing under 16. The wind and waves got nasty, why does a guy always stay to long. Either you end up getting wet or the wind does a number on you, but that’s fishing.
