Pool 2

I drove over the High bridge in St. Paul today & it looked very iced over.

Was thinking about checking out the back waters of pool 2 in the next few weeks for some pan fish and walleye action. Anyone spent much time down there doing this. I think there may be access to the back waters off of red Rock road.

Pretty much froze over shore to shore at the airport this afternoon.

Mike, the only ice fishing I have done down there was back in mud. Boated up and walked back in there. Let me know if you go exploring there off red rock. I believe that is north lake. I have seen portables back there, but not in a long time. Never been back there myself….

Mike, I have had the same idea. Plenty of whities to keep you busy Im sure and maybe a bonus eye or two. Never know till you try eh! If this cold keep up shoot me a pm and maybe we can run my wheeler over there and check it out! Walking it is ok but its further than it looks with some snow down on the ice.
