Has anyone been out on Pool 3 lately? Any luck with the walleye, sauger, or white bass? I haven’t seen many trailers in the lots around here so thats probably not a good sign.

I was out for a few hours Saturday afternoon but only caught two small walleyes drifting between the railroad bridge and the ramp. I talked to a boat that was coming out when I was putting in and they said it was slow for them but they did pick up a couple of keepers. I fished several wingdams but didn’t find anything there. I read something from DMan who said fishing was slow for him also on #3 on Saturday. I think things should be picking up in the Prescott area any day now, even with this high water (or maybe because of it). One advantage of having the Croix dump in at Prescott is that even during high water, the Croix water will be relatively clean.

Hey Boone- Dman here. That was me fishing with Tuck. I am surprised he hasn’t posted a report from Saturday. He must be busy. I should have introduced myself, but it was Tucks boat and I was told to speak only when spoken too. I was to just concentrate on keeping it vertical and jig. LOL
