I was out for a few hours Saturday afternoon but only caught two small walleyes drifting between the railroad bridge and the ramp. I talked to a boat that was coming out when I was putting in and they said it was slow for them but they did pick up a couple of keepers. I fished several wingdams but didn’t find anything there. I read something from DMan who said fishing was slow for him also on #3 on Saturday. I think things should be picking up in the Prescott area any day now, even with this high water (or maybe because of it). One advantage of having the Croix dump in at Prescott is that even during high water, the Croix water will be relatively clean.
