pool eight

Just wondering if anybody has anything to report on pool eight during this recent warm spell?

I can tell you yesterday (Saturday) afternoon, there were around 20 boats below the Dresbach dam. If I could get to my boat I beleive I would be out there myself looking for the eyes and saugers I am going to venture to guess they are catching fish, just not sure on size or numbers

Sounds like something that might have to be checked out

Went out for a few hours last night, the rain was pretty constant but at least there wasn’t ice coming over the rollers. We boated about 20 fish in 4 hours, most were 12-14″ walleyes and sauger but we did manage an 18″+ sauger, a 17″ and 16″ walleye (we kept a 14″ sauger just to get a meals worth). There is a pretty stong back current along the short wall, but most of the fish we caught were towards the end of the short wall in 12-15 FOW where the slower water was. The fish seemed to like plastics on the move more than vertical jigging.
