Pool 4 4/18/03

Finally got the 3-way and livebait bite going today. Spent all day between Colvill and the bouy line. Could’nt buy a fish jigging this morning so we pulled 3-ways, nothing on the cranks but when we put the live bait on things started to happen. Got fish in depths from 10-18ft. Both crawlers and minnows on bare hooks and floaters. Caught 2 males that went just a tad over 22″. Only 1 sauger today and she still had eggs. Below is a shot of my partner for the day Mike Hanson with 1 of the males, Mike was a little disappointed as we did not catch any bullheads(Iowan).

He must like catching them bullheads, cause he aint smiling in the picture. FF

I have been telling everyone that you are going to give a fishing report Friday at the LPO Rules meeting

reports have been hard to come by lately!… pix.. but not reports…. I planning on hitting pool 4 with Stillakid on Wednesday.. so I will give one out if that happens…..

RiverEyes, with your bag full of tricks all your reports do for me is send me out to the tackle shop to spend more money…just kidding. Looking forward to hearing what you guys find out. Should be alot of LPO and MTT people out pre-fishing with tight-lips so reports will be scarce this week.
