Current Edges

I have some questions about fishing current breaks. I can find these when the water is calm but is there a trick to finding the edge when there is some wind?

When casting an edge should the boat be postioned in the slack water, current or right on the line? Are casts made up parrallel or perpendicular to the current? How far from the edge will the fish hold?

I realize there is alot of questions but I just want to be more consistant in fishing the edges.

    Thanks Guys

Anyone ever try using something biodegradable that floats to find current patterns when it’s windy? Maybe toss out chunks of bread or something and watch where they head?

Just curious if this would work.

Hey John, the seagulls will devour the bread before you have a chance to interpt the drift.
