Great day of fishing. My dad and i got to everets at 7 am, unloaded the boat and headed up to the dam. The fishing was real fast the first hour then slowed a bit for the next hour then had a good steady bite the rest of the day, getting off the water at 2 pm. I ended my day with 54 sauger, 2 walleye, a smallmouth and a rock bass. my dad who didnt keep count of his catch had approximately 30 sauger and a waleye. The hot bait for the day was a chartruse pepper super doo fished a foot off the bottom.

Nuts…I was going to come down there today, but everything went wrong for fishing…I would have liked to have met you and your Dad Jason!

Only 54? Slow day huh!?? What did you do to kill time between bites!

Glad you had a good time!

I’ll be out there with my dad. It’ll be his first time in his new boat but around my 6th or so. Our family wonders who’s boat it is.

Sounds like lots of us will be down there! Look forward to meeting some of you.
