fished this morning with my two brothers. Started out of Everts at about 7am. Started pitching ringworms to a sand rock transition holding the boat in the current and working the current seam with only 1 sauger to show. Went vertical and started pounding fish. There was about an hour and half of non stop action. One famous IDA guide showed up just after we left our pitching spot and fished the exact same spot as us for quite some time with not much luck as he soon joined us vertically. I think the pitching bite is pretty slow right now. Anyone have any success? Our fish were caught on paddletails and super doos. Best colors were orange catalpa again in the paddle tail and a chartruse pepper super doo. Between three of us, we caught over 20 fish. Great day to be on the water. Fish were caught in 24-32 feet of water and our biggest was 19inches.
