Went out on Pool 4 by the dam last night with a buddy of mine. We did pretty good on the walleye and sauger. One nice 19″ male sauger and few others in the 15-16″ range. The real catch was by my buddy who landed a 35″ shovel nose sturgeon. I think he snagged it under the shovel part because the hook fell out immediately as it got to the surface. What a day not to have the camera along! Then later we saw a boat not to far away from us land a paddle fish and heard some other guys talking about landing a sturgeon. I guess you never know what you’re going to catch with a jig and minnow on the mighty Miss.!
