Was able to get down for a few hours this afternoon before work. Yup, late for work again, oh well. went down river again and tried some more new areas, most boats I talked to were having a very slow day. skies were high, wind did pick up a little but the direction was good as it did not effect most of the main river channel fishing. did catch about a dozen legal fish, best fish were 2- 18″ Saugers, and one 19″ male Walleye, again mainly SuperDoos in 20-24 feet. missed a few short striking fish, they were not thumping it the way they were last weekend. water temps are back up to 42 and visibility has lowered to about 18-24 inches. This Spring the water visibility and general river conditions are the best it probably ever has been during spawning time. usually by the time the temps get to mid 40’s for most of the spawn, the water is way up, and into the trees with most of the fish hard to get to and zero water vis. also today did not mark as many fish as last weekend in the same areas. only was able to spend about 5 hours during the afternoon on the water. the sun felt good and the temps are just going to get warmer in the next few days. there is a threat of some poss showers (mainly more to the north) on sunday maybe, with a few storms for monday also possible. It could be busy on the water this weekend, anyone thinking about going out, 60’s-70’s, sun, fish, What else in life is there ???? Jack..

    Well let me think here?

Lund Boats, GLoomis Rods, Yamaha Motors…..Big Walleyes, Monster Pike, 2lb Crappies, Truck Loads of ringie’s, kalins, and doos! No more college exams…..many more college women! And another EFN in-depth angling video. Oh yeah…and a hundred million dollars….I think those things will keep me happy for awhile!
