The worst day of fishing is still better than the best day at work. Not the greatest, we brought home 8 nice saugers, lost a wopper sauger, well let me say Ted lost him, and caught one huge perch. Had to work hard as the water was filled with weeds from up north. Seems the best bait was a minnow with no jig. Took us all day and we caught fish all day but few and far between. Caught a few small saugers and only one small walleye.

Where you up by the dam? And did the float seem to catching many at all? I am thinking of heading down there on Friday. Any insight would be helpful.

The float is closed for the year nobody out there. Although we did catch a couple near the float we caught most of ours south of there.
