We went to pool 7 Tuesday and worked our butts off to get 6 sauger we could keep. There were only 2 walleyes caught and they were both short. Seems you had to work on the bottom or just off it real slow almost no jigging just dragging. Can’t point to any one lure maybe the kitchen sink worked the best.
One of the guys told us they caught a 10 lb 10 oz eye up there the day before. Talked to the DNR crew for quite a while they were shocking and counting gills and bass. Their report of the pools was very good. We have a great fishery.
