Morning bite was pretty slow. One of the guys I was with caught some pretty nice smallmouths right next to the riprap on the lock side of the Y at about 9:30. Boated a few nice Walleyes right after that on the same side all over 20inches. Later in the day when the shadows started casting over the water we tried that same shoreline and caught some more nice eyes just casting 1/8th ounce jigs with 4 inch chartreuse grubs. Fished the whole shoreline all the way up to the lock and then went to the other side as the sun was going down and caught more nice eyes over on that shoreline. We Caught about 10 eyes over 20 inches on those two shorelines, with the biggest being 26 1/2 inches. All in all it was a really great day.
