Fished 11/2/06 on both of them. We actually started at lynxville. Grass was very thick and we spent alot of time getting it off the line. We were able to keep five keeper saugers and 1 perch between 3 of us. We did catch qute a few cigar sized saugers. We were fishing with jigs and ringworms tipped with minnows. Also tired 3ways only to find it meant taking off twice as much grass each time. We then moved down to the Island off St. Louis Villa in PDC and after a couple drifts and not marking fish we decided to head down to Guttenburg. Water was basically weed free and surface water temps around 41 degrees. We started of with a 18″ sauger right away around 4 o’clock picked up another one shortly thereafter. As the night moved in we anchored for a while by the float with no luck. Most of the fish we caught were in 10-14 foot of water at both places. we stayed out til 7 or so waitng for the “night bite” but decided to go feed ourselves instead. It was a Beautiful night with nearly a full moon with the winds dying down. Sorry no pic’s only good memories.
