drove over the bridge today and saw about 15-20 boats right below the dam. has anybody been out, or heard how the fishing has been lately? with all those boats, somebody must’ve been catching some fish. was a great day to get out too, beautiful weather.
I fished for about five hours late Friday morning into the afternoon with very limited success. Fished by the dam with a jig and minnow and picked up a few small saugers. I then moved down stream and worked some back waters and wing dams with plastics with no success at all. I then repeated the same process on Sat getting out at about 5:30AM and fished until about 11:00 AM with the same results I listed above. I didn’t see a lot of action out of anybody else either. I am ready to take up duck hunting. 
I did well last Tuesday evening keeping 5 nice fish after work. Just before dark the East side was doing good for me. Alot of smaller fish with a good keeper everynow and then. After dark I couldn’t get a bite till I moved to the West side. The action was on fire from 7:30-9:00pm. During the day I have found the nicer fish to be on the channel edge in 20FOW down from the dam.
fished off the break wall right next to the dam for a few hours in the late afternoon/early evening without much success. caught one nice northern(31″) and some perch. pretty slow.
