Just wondering if anyone has been out to pools 5 or 5a (Alma & Bass Camp)? My brother in-law is coming for the weekend and wanted to try to chase some wally’s and sauger. We used to go down to Bass camp on a regular basis but haven’t been down that way this year at all, anyone had any luck there? Thank you in advance!
Way too nice to sit in a duck blind today…….decided to fish instead……GOOD CHOICE!!!!! Fished up by Bass Camp and caught this 7 1/2#er!!!!!!

Yeah…….but anyway………Honestly, the walleye fishing was SLOOOOOW……One shorty by the dam and one larger fish (that I’m assuming was an eye) that popped the hook on a wingie down stream…..only 5 other boats out, never saw anyone else catch a fish

The BASS fishing was pretty good
You need a leash for that thing young man
