I got out Saturday and Sunday on pool 9 fishing deep cuts on some of the backwaters. Mostly small Sauger and Walleyes in the morning until Andrew E came down and I jumped into the boat with him. He managed an 18″ Sauger and an 18″ Walleye. Sunday morning the bite was slow but still brought these three home with the biggest measing 15.5″. Water temp was about 45 degree and we were fishing cuts from 20 to 35 FOW bouncing a jig with a minnow.
