    Just thought I would post a couple of pictures from my trip last week. Took a couple of rookies out to prove the old proverb that even a blind squirrel can find a nut once in a while.

    I’ve seen nice fish before…I have to tell you, that’s a nice fish, especially for this time of year. Look at how well fed that girl is!

    Terrific Walleye. Is there a story behind it that we’d all like to hear….
    upper , lower end of pool 4, ? casting or jigging ?
    The BEST Pool 4 fishing is just starting now thru March.

    Got this girl in typical style this time of year. Pitching #5 shad raps along shallow shoreline. This one hit in about 2′ of water and headed for the lake after it was hooked. We used a number of different patterns but the blue/silver and firetiger were the best.

    This is by far my favorite style of fishing because the fish hit hard and run long. The water is still warm enought that there is alot of fight left in these fish.
