Anyone fished Lake Pepin the last few days for walleyes, saugers, or pike? I haven’t been out since June 7 and just checking for any info. I might break my three week no fishing streak on Friday or Saturday. Thanks.
From what I hear upper Pool 4 is very dead. But here is a report I made from Lower pool 4
I know that this is old news, but here goes. We fished last Tuesday thru Friday on lake Pepin from Maiden Rock to Camp Lacoupolis and had very poor fishing. Each day my wife caught one nice Eye 18-22″ and a few huge sheepies. We went hours on end not catching anything. Weather was great except for the constand wind. We still had a good time, but would have liked to catch a few more fish. I didn’t see anyone else on the water catch anything, had lots of time to look!
I’m sneaking out for a lower pool 4 trip tomorrow after work. If I get anything worth talking about, it will show up here.
I pulled some cranks on sunday for a couple of hours in the after noon. I managed to pick up a 25″er and a 17″er (C&R) I worked in the maiden rock area in 13.5-14 feet of water. I caught the two within ten minutes of each other and then had to cut it short due to electrical problems 
and a faulty fuel gauge . otherwise i am confident that i could have boated a few more.
