Fished from 3:30 pm to 7 pm between the lock and dam and the I-90 bridge. Lots of short fish, walleye, very few sauger. Live bait presentation in 18-20 foot of water, slip sinker and 2 foot leader, plain hook, brought the most fish to the boat. Moved to a sand bank, with a good slope to deeper water, using hair jigs, found bigger walleye. Several fish in the 16-19 inch range were taken in a 30 minute period. The larger fish were all taken in 3-5 foot of water. This was a good start after ice out.
