Heads up on ramps

I just wanted to let everyone know about a little potential problem at the 3 ramps that are together here at the resort. The trimbelle river has dumped a ton of sand behind the ramps over the winter, and now that the water has come up, it has pushed it right behind 2 of em. The ramps themselves are deep and fine for launching. When you’re backing up away from the ramp with your boat, just keep your motor trimmed up a bit until you get about 30 yards out from the ramp. Downstream from the ramps is fine, but right behind them is about 2.5-3 feet deep. It’s not a big problem, but just wanted to give people a heads up to be aware of it. You don’t want to drive your boat UPSTREAM of the ramps and pull on shore. I assume the water will come up more with the runoff and it won’t be a problem and hopefully it will just flush the sand out. The ramps are fine to use…..just wanted to let people to know not to put your motor all the way down right behind the ramps when you’re backing up. Thanks.
