    Sweet buddy Sweet !!

    What do ya figure the higher water will do to the fish’s haunts…How high is it now compared to a normal spring ?

    Dave,

    The fish will really start to move around and end up settling down in shoreline eddy areas and main channel sand dunes and points. The back water cuts and tribs to the river will see allot of fish trying to get out of the main flow of things as well. I don’t foresee an abundance of fish making a movement in to the tribs until the river really gets rolling.

    I have not been to the river since Sunday but it is no where close to being as high as a normal Spring.

    I got a 5 and two 3’s yesterday, and as soon as the rollers opened, the fish vanished! I did get all three of the larger fish tight to shore. As you can tell from the picture that River Eyes took, I had to pull the boat hard left to keep from hitting shore. For some reason, pitching did not work for me, but slow trolling did…
