I see one pool 4 report… sounds like they did ok.. for us it was an instant replay of last week just before the FYB tourney…. the fish bit good until about 10, in deeper water 20-24′ with superdoos, char/pepper being a good color… this was up towards the dam in the channel… then down river (towards the Y) later we did a bit of good with neutral colored ringworms…(ok.. dusty pro, blue, purple/white and smoke with blue tail) from 10-2 it looked pretty slow for most…… I saw Tuck out there doing pretty good, and in fact here is a pic I took when he held up a fish for me to “shoot”….. it was quite a ways away so clarity might not be great….. the fishing seemed ready to pick up after 2 pm….. but we had to leave…..

so I would say earlier or later was best…. doos worked deeper, ringworms shallower… and I saw guys producing with 3 ways…..

and just for fun… here was Everts resort in our “rear view mirror” as we departed in the morning….. the camera says the pic was taken at 9:25 am….. personally from my experience the last 2 times I would heartily recommend a departure time more like around 7 or so… so you can partake of the better fishing…. and beat the crowds a bit

one thing that was pretty cool was Kerry has an FL8 fishfinder in the front… and its hung off the trolling motor… so as I sat there I could “watch” my superdoo on the screen and see the fish come up and either nail it or look at it… earlier in the day they were nailing it, later they were looking but NOT touching….. (kind of frustrating!)…. and one thing I say was if I jigged the doo at all while a fish was “looking” it over, that fish left Immediatly….. but if it was a ring worm, they would often hit it!…. strange how it works that way….. but it does seem to work that way!

Ran across orca today, it was nice to meet you. He was pulling 3-ways and catching some good fish. This is one of him without a fish.
