the best color for me has been the purple 6 inch ringworm with an 1/8th once firey colored jig drifting the 15-21 ft. or so of water.Say whats this I ‘ve heard about a ten pound walleye! if anyone can try and post out this monster please do so and thanx. that sure will be a prized fish to who ever caught that and great job to the man who caught it! I ‘ll be reporting tommorrow after I get back from pool 4 so catch you on the water!and by the way lets keep our fingers crossed that this weather stays just like this for a while.ta ta from shore shinner

6 inch Ringies? I was under the impression there were 4″ ones! Something new?? God I hope not…. I’ve got enough plastics to choke a horse.

The 6″ ringworms I fish have a ribbon tail. Not the traditional curl tail. They do make them and can be hard to find. Here is a website for a 7 1/2″ ringworm.

I know this bait is a little big but the it can be trimmed to fit your taste.

Hmmmm. Those big ones might be worth a shot in Fall. But they are maybe too big. But, like you said…. they can be trimmed.

Just checked Cabela’s site and they have 6″ er’s, never used them, but now I’ll have to add another couple 100 to the boat.

Didnt you guys pick yours up at the mpls sport show. I picked up about a half dozen colors from one of the bulk dealers there. Have not had a chance to try them yet but cant waite now. Leave it to the youngsters to try something new. Way to go shore shiner
