Just Saw some new???,Berkley Power leeches. Three or four years ago they were much stiffer and shorter,(even then they got me some fish up at Trempeleau). Now they are longer and when barely moved have about as close to a leech movement as I have ever seen in artificial. When did they change them and how is anybody that uses them doing?

If you’re talking about what I “think” you are talking about, I had some last year and did “fantastic” with them fishing Pepin riprap last summer. The smallies loved them, and the walleyes were right behind. You are right, they are pretty realistic, and they don’t stick to your fingers

I think I’ll give them a try this year. Can anyone tell me how well they hold up after a couple of fish?

They work well… Like them for filipping on rip rap in the areas LundGeye mentioned. they don’t hold up well at all though. The only real knock against them I have. I guess if they made them tougher, they probably would be stiff and wouldn’t have as much action.

I like that Power Bait, looking forward to trying that new leech.
