Here is a pic of the crowd gathering around for the weigh-in. We ended up having 45 boats register for the tournament today. 22 of the boats weighed fish in. Some with only 1 or 2 didn’t bother to weigh-in. 11 of the teams weighed in a 6 fish limit. A good majority of the fish were released…..all the “pigs” were released and looked to be in good shape. A few of the “eater” ones that ended up not makin it, got picked up and are going to be a good fish fry for some people.
All in all, everything went very well today. Nobody had to wait to long to get in, and the weather was just beautiful! Anyone care to share any comments/ideas/suggestions on the tourney event as a whole? Thanks to everyone who participated and I hope you all had a Great time!!! Thank you!!!!

Murphys law ruled for me today, Why is it that sooo many things can go wrong on a tourney day, At least my boat didnt explode. Anyway It was fun, and even though it was crowded everybody seemed to mind there manners. After seeing some of the fish brought in I realized I should have stayed on the water till dusk, and enjoyed the rest of the day.

Congrats Glenn and Steve. Some really nice looking fish there. Way to go! And congrats to all who fished as it looked like everyone caught fish and had fun. Alot of teams who saw that the first place ,at the moment, was 19 lb. decided not to weigh their fish as they knew they weren’t in the money. Then Glenn and Steve weighed their fish and a 32 1/2 lb. basket of fish, wow! Thanks, Bill

The Vex works great. Like any baitfish situation, you can clean up your view with the gain setting. I use the old coffee can trick to keep the sun from affecting the view of the screen.

I have this set up with a permanent transducer on the back of the boat. Just unscrew the transducer cable and remove the Vex between uses. I have an Ice Ducer for ice fishing when I can’t get out on the water.

I get a lot of use out of the unit.
