Weather was great and so was the fishing. 10 to20 ft. was the best for me. Over 20 and small. Used a dubuqe rig with purple ringworm on drop and plain hook and minnow. Caught about same on both. Bigger came on minnow. Sorry to say but seen some small sauger floating and people pulling them up prettyfast in the hole. Kept 4 between 16 and 20. Had about a dozen more legal size and quite a few small ones.

funny…. I just got finishing tying a 3 way just like that for tommorrow… then I read THIS post!… so guess Im ready….. and thats a part of my plan!…. will try Doos early.. but if its no go.. will switch to the ring worm dubuque rig…. though Im trying something just a bit different on the top hook… a bit of an addition… we will see how it works…..
we will be hitting the water early…. Ive seen this pattern in affect the last 3 times Ive been there… I dont need to be hit in the head with a club… mid day has been TOUGH for me…. really TOUGH….
One thing I forgot to add. Steve and I were talking about fishing when I first got there. I know with does don’t. Steve told me that also works with ringworms. He was right again.
