The new B-Fish-N K-Tails kits, Ringworm kits, and SuperDoo kits are in at Gander Mt. After you pick up your kits don’t forget to order some weedless SuperDoo jigs from B-Fish-N Tackle and also pick up some of your favorite colored jigs from Mike at Hooked On Fishing on Highway #63 north going out of Rochester. Then go hammer the fish. But please practice catch and release or selective harvest with all those new toys you will have in your tackle box. Thanks, Bill

Thanks for the shameless plug Bill!
As Bill stated, The Doo’s, K-grubs and Ringies are in stock at all the metro area Gander Mountain Stores as well as Rochester and LaCrosse. Most of the stores are “under construction”, moving from winter to spring merchandise, so you might have to ask an associate. Good supplies available in all locations however. Jig Heads are due in a week or so, as fast as Hawger can pack them.
Good fishin this weekend to all who get out. Personally I think I’ll hit the Wi early trout season.

February 26, 2003 at 3:18 pm #253039I saw the display in the Rochester Gander and it looked pretty darn good except for the mug shot of that guy on the front of the packaging…LOL!
Sorry James!
February 26, 2003 at 4:14 pm #253048I just went to Woodbury’s Gander Mountain today, no sign of the Kits or Jigs and sales guys had no idea what what I was talking about. Also called Maplewood, Maple Grove and Bloomington stores no luck there either. A couple of stores said in the next 2 or 3 weeks they should be on the shelves.
February 26, 2003 at 5:47 pm #253060Tom,
If you noticed, it’s a huge transition period in the retail fishing world, especially in the smaller Gander stores. Never enough floor space you know. I haven’t come across these kits in the Minnetonka store yet, but if I do, I’ll let you know.
CrankbaitPosts: 365February 26, 2003 at 6:38 pm #253065Thanks for the heads up Bill!!
Made it over to Gander Mtn. in Rochester and ended up grabbing an arm full of the plastics kits! Like Dustin said, the packaging features a nice shot of James on the front holding up a chunky walleye, which you can bet was caught on one of these baits, in addition to a great description on how to fish them inside. Excellent presentation guys!!
Although these can be ordered online, it’s pretty cool to see them in stores. I figure I’ll start with the in store assortment kits and then order my favorite colors from the kits direct from BFishN.
I’m hoping for another announcement soon on the new H20 Precision jigs as I’ll be wanting to get my hands on those as well!! They appear to be just what I’ve been looking for. Are they ready yet??!! Are they ready yet??!!

February 26, 2003 at 6:42 pm #253066Can’t wait for the Precision jig myself. I won’t have to spend all my off months pouring lead to accomodate my needs. I would rather spend a bit more $ and have the extra time on my hands to take care of other things
February 26, 2003 at 8:02 pm #253070Going to Gander tonight in St.Cloud. Hope the new goods have arrived. I see the Visa card coming out.
February 26, 2003 at 8:49 pm #253072Dman,
Don’t want to bum you out, but we didn’t throw them in St. Cloud yet.
Perhaps we can get a transfer arranged or better yet you could swing through one of the Metro stores on your way to the river this weekend.

ArtPosts: 439February 26, 2003 at 11:39 pm #253081Stopped at Gander in Roch. My only question is how many do we have to buy before James gets a poster as big as Al Linders.
February 27, 2003 at 12:03 am #253082hey,
i was at gander in roch. yesterday and i couldn’t find them anywhere???? i looked all over the plastics area. i even asked some one but they said they’d never heard of ’em??? were they located with the other plastics or seperatly some where???
i had a $10 gift card i was just dying to use up, but since i could find any super doos i had to buy a couple boxes of shells instead (crow opener is saturday ya know) anyone going?
February 27, 2003 at 12:18 am #253085Nope Jake….
I eat enough crow already… without going out to shoot some for supper…!ArtPosts: 439February 27, 2003 at 12:23 am #253087Iwas there today about 4 and the end of a row was full of them.
February 27, 2003 at 2:18 am #253103Jake, you must have had too many thoughts of crows flying. East side of store, half way down the aisles, the end cap is ALL dedicated to plastics from BFishN with about 95 pictures of James staring out holding a dandy walleye, Kalins, Doos and Ringers all there in lots of colors…
February 27, 2003 at 2:41 am #2531052 cool
The H2O Precision Jigs are being painted as I write this!
I am shaking….just waiting… waiting for the call to go pick them up!!!
I am going to be on that box of heads…
“like a fat kid on a cookie”

I’ll keep you posted guys on the arrival… thanks for the kind words.

Dave HoggardFebruary 27, 2003 at 11:59 am #253123Mike- Do you know if they are in the Maple Grove store?
I did end up in the St.Cloud store last night and sensed right off the bat they where not there. Man….what a sick feeling.
