Spring break is less than 3 days away!!!! Just wondering if the action is heating up down on pool 4. Taking the boat out of storage on Saturday and will hit the river at least twice next week. Any information will be most appreciated.

Pool 4 fish don’t bite in March…..what a nasty rumor to start!

In all seriousness, we were down to Everts last weekend and picked up plenty of eaters using vertical and dragging techniques. The FYBO results had primarily smaller bags (12+ lbs for 5 fish) with the big fish being 4+ lbs. I’m still looking for my first big fish of the spring….the best is yet to come, and hopefully this warmer, damp weather will set things in motion.

Dean at Everts will have all of the most recent location and technique information for you. He’s in tune with the Pool 4 bite on a day-by-day, if not hour-by-hour, basis. Be sure to visit with him before you hit the water.

The day bite is improving! And of course the same consistant late day bite is happening.Mid-day is calling for a little different strategy, but starting to see several presentations put fish in the boat for our friends. It is only going to get better!
