Yes, some of the ringworms come from the “major advertiser”. Most however, do not. I get different colors from different places. Some are thicker, some are thinner, etc. They all work, just some are a little more durable than others.

On a separate note: I was unable to open my shop on Saturday a.m. due to a broken hip on my mother’s part. She is okay, but I just wanted people to know that my offer on the ringies will stand through next weekend.

Good Luck with your shop and hope Mom heals.

I have to say that all Ringworms are NOT created equal. I cannot say which is the absolute best but I do know I have been fishing alongside several guys over the years with “generic” ringworms from Netcraft, Barlow’s, lurenet etc…They have generally been frustrated by the lack of success compared to BFTs or YUM Thumpers.
Guys like James, Jarad, Dustin, Steve D and others have put countless hours into helping to “tweak” the BFT Ringies. I know I have had fantastic success with them…even as far away as Little Bay de Noc, MI.

I agree that BfishN’s ringworms are a “cut above”. They are thicker and the tails beefier. Definitely give the appearance of being larger in the water. They also displace more water which I would imagine creates more vibrations to draw a fish’ attention. I meant no disrespect to those worms, they’re about all I personally fish.

Also, thanks for the well wishes for Mom. We will take any of those we can get.
