That Cotton Candy color is a keeper for sure. For those of you that haven’t tried it or looked at it, it’s one of those baits that looks different outside the package.

I’ve seen them on the shelves and they look a little muted, almost dark, but when you take it out of the package, they get a little lighter and pink in color.

Personally, I think this is one of those colors that could excell in clear water on bright, sunny and/or cloudy days.

I was fortunate enough to get a pile of this color a couple years ago from James. It has been my favorite color since then. It produces day in and day out. I sure am glad it came into production.

    Len,
Appreciate your CPR mentality. I admire anglers that can release the spawners that make a fishery healthy.

Just checked the BFN site and couldn’t find the “cotton candy” color in the K-grub line. Have I missed something?

    Hi Bob,

I think the confusion is caused by the fact that Dave doesn’t have a photo of a Cotton Candy K-Grub on-line. I do see that color selection is available in the drop down menu for ordering.

    Here’s the link >>> http://bfishntackle.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=21

Its the very last color listed in the drop down.

On a side note, I see Dave has a Cotton Candy Paddletail now too. I’m assuming he didn’t announce it because he didn’t have photos for that color in that product. Regardless, the Cotton Candy paddletail is there too.

Here’s the link to the Paddletails. Again, last item listed in the drop down menu >>> http://bfishntackle.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=32

I have heard of this color being real good this time of year nite fishing up around pool 2. I bought some this year but have not used them yet. I am excited about the rising temps…might have to throw a few next Friday night!

I’ve never fished ring worms before and did pick some up at Madison from the IDA booth this last week end. Is it best to cast and drag back? Or is it best used vertical jigging? Thanks for the advice and I hope to be up in Lynxville this weekend. Mark

Yes and yes Ringworms are a very versatile plastic. You can pitch them to sand flats, wingdams, rocks, or wherever a walleye might be hiding. You can also vertical jig them as well as use them dragging up or downstream. Most of my use this time of year is vertical jigging as well as dragging.

I agree Len, Cotton Candy has been one of my all time confidence colors up here on Pool 2 during the cold water periods. As Blue Fleck mentioned it is one of those colors that works very well in clear water on clear or overcast days.

This color is with me every single time on the water!

Sorry guys, I did forget to add those colors to the website. Here they are now though. Better late than never?

    Cotton Candy K-Grub

    Cotton Candy Paddletail

Both products poured wonderfully and all reports back so far have been very positive.
