I got all the ICE broke out today and the fishingwas good..We kept 4 for the pan and threw back 3 short ones.Both launches are in goood shape.Purple K-Grubs on a 5/16 BFT lead was the trick today.I didn’t have a lot of time today but I wouldn’t be afraid to pull some cranks on 3-ways and you might want to try some Kaboom Shinners they do work.

thanks for the info len. Think i might use your hard work to my advantage this sunday and put the boat in and try it out. How was the ice alot floating down stream?

Thanks all.No ice floating down stream as of today.The river is in good shape from McDonalds to the dam.A few were out today and some did get there limits.Mostly sauger today.The ramp on the north end is useable.

Len, i take it they must have the river at a pretty stable condition then? Were the rollers up or down as well?

Only one up other 4 down.One of my friends went out after the wind died and had a nice limit of sauger tonite.

well i am getting ready while i type this. Heading up this morning even with the wind to try it out.

I’ll be up next sunday, save me a few.

Well for the report from yesterday. The fishing was slow and the wind was cold. We ended up catching 8. 3 were eyes that were just 1/2 to small to keep and the saugers were all little ones. Seem to like the 5 inch k grub purple color as well today. Will prob. head up again next weekend. Thanks for opening the ramp again len.
