i just got off the phone with Bruce Selle, the guy running the tournament. Here are the nuts and bolts of it all.

It will be held on March 1st.
Tournament times are from 7am to 3pm
Maximum of 2 people per boat
    $20 entry per boat
$5 “big fish” pot if you wish to participate in that.
    80% payback for tournament
100% payback on the big fish contest
You can register at the resort the day of the tournament starting at 6am
You have to launch at Everts Resort
Ramp fees are the usual $7

This tournament is a fun tournament that anyone can enter and depending on the weather may have up to 50-60-70 boats. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. 715-792-2333

I wonder if they can get another singer?
Best of luck guys and gals. I better take care of business.

Maybe I could get one of those moving manakins to take my place too. That might work!!!!!!!!!
Naaaaa!!!!!!!! For sure she ( my Mother in law) would want to give me a hug and break me. I wouldn’t want to hear about it for the rest of my/her life.

Guess I’m a little wipped. And would like to continue fishing and hunting. Have a good time.

    Yes I’m fishing it….

Is that six fish per team ? or pp ?

what happens if one doesn’t make it to the weigh-in alive ?

Six fish per team. I can’t remember if there is any penalty for a dead fish or not for sure but I don’t think so.

Just a little update……the weather man is calling for 38 degrees this Saturday with a West wind of 12 mph. Unless that changes, it should be a great day! I got a few more details from Bruce tonight.

    1. Where can I fish? Wherever you can get a boat and it’s a open season for walleye/sauger
    2. How many fish does a team weigh in? 6 fish /team
    3. Is there a dead fish penalty? No, you have the option to keep or release your fish. The DNR does not require one way or the other with these cold water temps.
    4. Where/when can I register? At Everts Resort starting at 6AM Saturday March 1st. Tourney starts at 7AM.

If i’m forgetting anything, ask away. Thanks.

It’s time to dust the cob webs off the boat. See you Saturday!

It sounds like I better get there early, With weather like they are forcasting there should be a good turnout. I told the old man about this tourny, and he thinks we are all nuts. He already knew that about me!!

bump = BTTT = “Bump to the top”

He’s trying to keep this on the first page where people will see it.

Good luck to everyone this weekend – weather looks to be a peach.
