Whats your opinion

    I am currently looking for new colors to add to our Money jig assortment. We have most of the colors needed for us bass guys but what you walleyes like is a mystery to me. Let me know what you think. Any information is appreciated.

    I am not the best walleye fisherman around. To that end I think the plastic is more important than the jig color. Black has been a great color for me. Dark days, or nights, gold or silver glitter works well. I think most guys opt for chartruese, orange, purple colors.

    Welcome to the site Outkast, for my money, I can’t go wrong with chartruese, or any shade of green really.

    WELCOME,
    DO NOT FOR GET THE UNPAINTED ,I HAVE MORE OF THESE THAN ANY OUTHER .IF I GET SHORT ON A COLOR I JUST PAINT THEM UP .I USE THE POWDER PAINT , DO IT IN THE OVEN .CAN DO 2-3 DOZ. IN LESS THAN 1/2 HR.

    Down here chartruese is one of the hitters too, white jigs with a pink head also work. Welcome to the site!

    My top 6. Orange, blue, purple, black, white, chartreuse. These are listed in random order.

    Use two tone jigs alot orange/chartruce green/chartruce purple/white and last couple years have had decent success on gold

    Blue, purple, and silver work well for me during the winter when the water is low. Chartreuse, white, pumpkinseed and orange work better when the water is dirtier. I too have found that mixing different colors or tones on a bait can make a difference, so think about either finding grubs that do this, or match a single-colored grub to a jig head of a different tone.
