Going to try to get out there thursday. Today got scratched off the list.
The rain last weekend is sending the level and the flow upward and I imagine it’ll be dirty.
Let you know what happens if I make it out tomorrow.

Just got back and here’s a quick lowdown on the conditions.
Water is a tad stained but in better shape than I thought it would be after the rains. Flow is increasing but still able to handle it. Brought five saugers and one eye to the boat this morning. All are still swimming. Tha dam area is a bit congested but if you work the ‘wagon wheel’ like everyone else, you’ll get some fish. Most of mine came from the area just north of the landing.

Thanks for the post on New Boston area. Still trying to figure out walleye fishing, but I defenitely have the bug. I’m not into bumper boats so I ussually stay away from the crowd. Now all I need is more time to spend on the river,It is addicting no matter what time of year.

thanks for the report herb! didn’t make it out over the weekend-just too darn cold! the wind was whipping and those temps in the low teens just turned me off to fishing. ran the pup instead and flushed a nice covey of quail and several pheasants. maybe will give it a try next weekend. thanks again!
