Ice Fishin For Eyes Pool 10

The current is slow enough down below the dam to do some jiggin thru the ice.The one thing that I will STRESS is that if you are going to venture out go with a buddy and keep spudding your way around.Yesterday I was in a 12′ flat piking around and I found spots that had only an inch of ice.That was out past the long wall.If you want more info stop at the Bar because I will be out every day to keep an eye on the ice conditions and to get some eating fish.Also there are a few Northerns inside the long wall.
To get access to the dam you will have to park at the launch and either walk or take an ATV up.Lock 9 is currently under construction and closed to the public.

Got out last nite after work and fished for about an hour kept one 17″ eye for the pan and caught 4 more that went back.Ice is about 6″-7″ thick and the whole river is locked up.Currrent wasn’t bad I was using a 3/8 blue and white bucktail jig tipped with a minnow.Will be out in about an hour and will let everybody know whats biting.
