Pretty slow and not much size. Tried lead core, 3 ways, but mostly jiggin’ in 30+ fow. Brought home 4 eaters. I think the fish were confused to see the morning sun…I know I was, but sure nice to get out there without much competition.
Thanks for the update. I was hoping that the warmth had opened up the ramp! Pool 5 is a great alternative to the relative hustle and bustle of upper pool 4. Did you go shallow and drag jigs at all??
Didn’t try shallow…like to find eater’s, I’ll leave the hogs for you. Went out of the new west newton landing, need 4wd to pull up the hill from the ramp though.

The Alma landing is open for those that launch from the Wisconsin side.
