Pool 2 494 Bridge Area

    The cold front sure put the lock jaw on the fish, at least around the bridge. Tried above and tried below, in the two areas that have been producing some pretty nice fish the last several weeks. We boated one up and boated one down, both walleyes. In addition to two others that were lost on the trip up. All small fish.

    We did not try anything shallower than 20′ so I’m not sure about the possibilities in the lower strata. Only pulled rubber…3 & 5″ Kalins, all colors. Out for 3 1/2 hrs and sacked it. Wind up was a bear but down below it was quite hospitable.

    Tomorrow is supposed to be warm er however I believe the ice formation tonight may put the crimp on my style.
