The 3 main ramps had about a 30-40 foot ice shelf in front of them this morning. The other ramp only had a little bit. Nothing that I couldn’t break with the snowplow. If ya want to get in, I can get ya in. There wasn’t much ice floating downriver today at all.

One boat ventured out today at about 830 am. Crazy cold I thought!! Attatched is a pic of them going upriver. The 3 main ramps were iced in pretty good. They had no problem getting in the other ramp. They’re still out fishing……4 hours in this stuff, hope they’re catching something! Cya.

What we need is one of those digital, remotely controlled cameras, set up at the resort to people can get a view of the river whenever they want to. That would be super-slick!

Somebody had a really bad week at work to feel the need to run up the river wide open on a day this cold. I tip my hat to them!

you thought that was cold, today (sunday) another cold front went through, aNd NW gusty winds in the am, slowing down for the afternoon, but still NW direction. DID WE ever get the INDIAN summer James promised me ??? just kidding, I know it was a little warmer for two days. Jack.

James, Steve and I were thinking that very same thing for pool 2. Now… how do we get the camera mounted to the bottom of the bridge… LOL

The mounting part is easy…. its the long extension cord that will be a killer!

It’s a neat idea that I keep coming back to. Could you imagine having a camera that would allow a user session of a pre-determined length and during that session the user could remotely control the direction of the camera as well as focus. Once your session timed out, the next guy would get a chance to play.

If I ever win the lottery we’d have lots of toys around here to enjoy!

yeah.. another fun one would be an underwater camera that was always broadcasting… or several of them.. would be fun to see what was down there….. they had on on lake superior… but about all I ever saw there was suckers…… but the water was clear enough you could see them pretty good!

Do they still have that cam going rivereyes? I thought I heard of a fish house bobber cam last year. I had also thought of doing a deer stand cam. Buddy of mine thought of a bird dog cam. This would be interisting until the dog starts some of its grooming or greeting habits. Lots of things you could do with a cam.
