well my bro. in law called and saide he had the flu. so i got lera out of bed to go with.shes here from Honolulu for the holadays.the bite for us to day was on the slow side, and the size was on the smaller side too.we fished for about 4-5 hrs.for me today the color of wingworms was problue ,and the purples worked the best. we did the vert.jig thing in about 27ish feet of water .was a nice day to share with lera,i know it was not 80 and sunny out, we will work on that tan anouther time

It might not have been 80 but it sure was nice!!

We had better luck with the lime green ringworms today although a number of differant colors worked closer to 3 pm.

It ’twas a great day to be out in a boat and listening about all the cars going through the ice on the radio!

I had a chance to get out after everyone left,and found the fish to be much more cooperative than what was reported earlier in the day.Chart-pepper and purple were color choices and 20 ft of water and less worked for me.

Thanks for the updates guys. I’ll be spending Thursday and hopefully Friday on 4. I’m so jazzed to be back on the water after a 3 week break, I don’t really care if we stick 20 fish or 2 fish! As I was told by a old river rat back in November, the sensation of a nice eye smacking a plastic in cold water “is the second best feeling in the world!” Dean, I’ll see you in the morning .
