Today I spoke to the Lake City boys while down their working and they indicated that the TeePee and Dam area @ RW were the best spots this past weekend and Tuesday. Below the High Bridge was paying off earlier however that was not the case this past weekend. No big fish but some respectable 17 to 20 inchers. The area below the Y @ the dam from 16 to 25′ seem to pay off the best. Only little fish in the 35′ water. Rubber and hair, it did not matter.
Pool 2 will get my rath this weekend if mother nature cooperates. Maybe try some wing dam areas below the old toll bridge?

after hitting 4 on Sunday and 2 on Wednesday… I vote on 2 for the best bite… catching nice fish was down right easy.. as long as you were using plastic.. though they were fussy on colors… I did best with chameleon ring worms and pumpkinseed super doos…..

Either you have not seen the weather forecast, or you are more of a nut than I.

Saturday will start out with a temp in the single digits and a high around 18 degrees.

Pool 2 will have a frozen ramp and skim ice everywhere.

Pool 4. Everts will probably (or for sure…!!! Steve??) get you in and the water at the dam should be fishable. But COLD! Be prepared for everything to freeze up. Brutal forecast with wind to boot. Coldest weekend of the winter. I may actually go ice fishing this weekend!

Thanks for the relevant information. I will consider all of the options and limitations. The wind should be helpful in keeping the ice formation down. As far as ice at the launch it has not stopped me before from putting on a pair of waders and chisleing out an area that is large enough to get the all welded ice breaker turned around. Actually the more brutal the better it keeps the swampies at home. I will check the weather and will be thinking of you sitting on that bucket.
    Good Luck Eh!
    Best Fishes.
