Not sure about the bite at the Hastings dam….and not sure where you plan to put in?? Can be pretty good this time of year because not too many guys are out.

If you decide to use the Prescott City ramp, make sure you have a new parking sticker for 2003! I know a couple guys got ticketed for no sticker last January. If you don’t have the sticker, make sure to pay the box.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

there are times when the pool 3 bite is real strong if you can get out on it…. ice is the limiting factor.. but this year you should be able to get out… I think I should have went there on Sunday…… instead of pool 4…. I always launched at the Hastings launch.. but have not been there since they worked on it last year…

Hastings launch is open. Fish are biting, but small is the irder of the day. Many fish are being caught though.

Had an excellent evening bite going last night. Figured I’d get out for one last harrah before the frigid temps set in. Fished anywhere from 15′-30′. Most of the fish were right on the border or under the legal 15-inches, still a blast on January 8. Once the right colored ringworm was found (pumkin I think), we couldn’t keep them off. I saw a couple of nicer (2-3 pound) fish come from shallower sand flats, but they worked very hard for few fish. Seemed to have a little better hit when tipping the jig/ringworm combo with the head of a minnow. Hopefully one more warm spell will come through before this area closes.
