I was wondering if there are any tackle shops around the Quad Cites,(Rock Island, Illinois) that sell these two items. Thanks for your time and effort.

The Rockford IL and Davenport IA Gander MT stores will have them on the shelves on or before Feb. 1 2003. Not sure off the top of my head how close that is to you but I do know for certain they will be available there… lots of colors too.
January 5, 2003 at 10:03 pm #249937Im glad to hear that Gander Mountain carries these products. There is one across the river from me. This would make things easy now. I always wait too long to re-order online. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to my post.
January 7, 2003 at 2:18 am #250011Bigweav… there is another post by the same name in this forum…. this is from Mike T / Gander Mountain.
“Hoggie” HoggardHi Folks,
I’m a little late in adding to this thread but I have some great news on B-Fish-N Tackle Ringworms and Super Do’s.
Hopefully, by late January or early february these same kits that you see on EFN will be available at the 7 Twin Cities area Gander Mountain Stores as well as LaCrosse WI, Rochester MN, Davenport IA and Rockford Ill. Dave Hoggard and I have finalized the details and we hope to have these in store on or before 2/1/03. Gander will be stocking the following kits:
Ringworm 100 packs: Neon, Classic and Core Colors
Super Do 100 packs: Real Shad, Custom and Classic Colors
K-Grub Kits 48 pack 5″: Clear and Stained water colors.Dave and I have also discussed smaller packs (20-25) of super do’s and ringies for the “not so committed to plastics” guys as well. I’ll try to send out a post when they are in store and ready to roll!
Thanks & Have a great new year!

January 7, 2003 at 4:55 am #250025Here’s the stores that will be carrying them:
Davenport
Minnetonka
Bloomington
Woodbury
Rochester
Maplewood
Maple Grove
Burnsville
Fridley
LaCrosse
RockfordThat’s what I received from Gander via. Dave Hoggard. I’m certain its pretty darn accurate.
January 7, 2003 at 6:07 am #250027If there is a Gander Mt. Store near you that is not on the list you could always ask them if they plan on carrying them like the other stores are. Never know, they just might decide to if people ask for them. Thanks, Bill
January 7, 2003 at 8:37 am #250029The Davenport store is right across the river from Rock Island. I’ve been checking them for Ringies and Doos for some time. Bugging them a little. I am really excited to hear they will be carrying them now. Hey James, do ya wanna work on having them carry those Kalin tails you use too!?!? They do have a very limited supply in Davenport. Very little color selection though. Thanks for the great work guys!

Actually, they went with a line of 5″ grubs that I’m endorsing. Lots of colors too. So Gander came through for you big time. Doos, ringies AND the big tails!
January 7, 2003 at 6:08 pm #250044Hi Folks,
Glad to see the excitement being generated here!
We are stoked to be a part of the program with B-Fishin-Tackle and EFN. It’s just a matter of a few weeks and the products should be in stores, pricing structure is a little different than what you see on the net, but there’s no freight invloved, hence the difference.
Absolutely! if these go really well and I get requests from stores not included in the initial test, we can certainly add them. My focus was on the stores in closest proximity to the river systems in which these are most effective.
If anyone has any questions on availability or locations, feel free to give me a holler.

January 7, 2003 at 6:39 pm #250046As a long time customer of Gander, I’d like to suggest adding B-Fish-N line of Superdoo jigs. IMHO they are the best I’ve found for tube baits. Super hooks and I like the design of the head.
January 7, 2003 at 6:43 pm #250047It will be easier to order them if the Cedar Rapids store is not going to be carrying them. Don’t get to Davenport very often and I would just as soon be fishing as to driving.
Thanks for the info
January 9, 2003 at 1:27 am #250102I agree with Bigweav……
The Cedar Rapids store is the closest to me and it would definitely be nice to pick out the product versus ordering online. Cedar Rapids is a big market and I would think that those products would do well there.January 9, 2003 at 6:14 am #250117All Right!!! Big tails too!!! I’ll be fillin a tote with plastic soon!! Maybe better wait to head to Davenport until I get my income tax refund! Thanks again guys! Great Job!
