Just a thought…i was setting up my three ways tonight with crankbaits and i was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to try a medium sized bucktail on the three way..Bucktails have always been good for walleyes, now if you could just get them down deeper, i would think they would be great…aha! i have the solution. Rig it up on a three way and give it a try. I think i might give it a shot this weekend.
Before you know it, D-nort will be out there pulling brovarney swim jigs on his three ways!
    Im just kidding nort. lol

I can’t remember the exact rig name, but if you can get a bucktail big enough you could use that as your weight, and still run a crank.

Is that called Dubuque rigging when the dropper is a jig too?

I think it’s a Dubuque when the dropper jig is rigged to slide, via running the main line thru a barrel swivel or a snap swivel. If the dropper and the bait leads are tied to a three-way swivel, it’s similar to what we call a Wolf river rig, here in Wisconsin.
