Is the power plant down ???

    Fishing on monday, the water temps were an honest 32 degrees. that three letter word, ICE build up and floating ice all over below the RedWing dam. Has anyone heard if the powerplant is down or not. temps this cold this early is not good. Thanks Jack…

    Yes the plant is down right now but I believe they will be back on line by Christmas.

    Actually, there are two units at Prairie Island. Only one unit has been down and it will probably be back up to full power some time next week.
