River Fall Bite Still Strong

    Fished for a few hours this morning in pool 9, fish were biting very well. Lots of short fish, lots of numbers. I did manage a 39 in Pike, so beware this hog actuallly fought like a pig eye, left the camera at home though . I was not able to get the plastics to go for me today, I was able to pop a couple. Today they wanted a plain jig and minnow. Fishing is great and oly getting better so get out and fish.

    Yup, it’s time to hit the river again. Like you, I found some good numbers on the ‘sippi this afternoon, except the plastic bite was on for me on Pool #3. Stong winds made it challenging in terms of boat control but overall the trip exceeded my expectations with the warm weather and hard hits on the plastics.
