Trempealeau?

    Has anyone been fishing the dam at Trempealeau? Was wondering how the sauger or walleye were doing. Also, is the construction at the boat ramp finished?

    Construction is done. The new ramps are great…just need the docks (too late now). Caught about ten fish in 3.5 hours..biggest about 18″. Drifted with plastics = 0; Throwing 1/4 oz jigs and plastic to riprap = 2 sauger 1 bass; 3-way upstream = 7. Beautiful day though.

    Didn’t hear you say anything about grass. Been pretty thick around here. { pool 9 }. Probably give it a try up there sometime this week.

    the grass wasn’t too bad, bearable. i did hear the grass on 8 and 9 was terrible.
